We’re all switching out our closets right now but what about the maxi dress? Do we store it away for warmer weather or keep it out and style if for fall and winter? We say plus size maxi dresses are so comfortable and versatile that you should style them up! A sleeveless knit maxi dress can be layered over a scoopneck long-sleeve tee shirt or a smooth turtleneck. If the colors are combined right and the neckline is cute, this can give you an all new plus size fashion (avoid a white turtleneck unless you want to look like a character on Big Love). Layering over the maxi with a chunky plus size cardigan can also work as long as the sweater doesn’t hit the broadest part of your hips. If you feel comfortable doing it, cinch the whole look together with a skinny leather belt. For an even more racy look, top the maxi with a plus size leather blazer and add the boots to complete the look.
